CardMedic is a multi award-winning communication tool designed to improve the transfer of vital information between healthcare staff and patients, across any barrier – whether visual, hearing or cognitive impairment, foreign language or PPE. Formed during the Covid pandemic, Fat Fish Digital worked with the CardMedic team to rebuild their digital platform on web and mobile.

Process
Using our expertise in creating licence subscription models for mobile applications, Fat Fish worked closely with Cardmedic to develop an award-winning digital communication solution to improve communication between healthcare staff and patients - whether the barrier is visual, hearing, or a foreign language. The solution includes complex functionality such as multi-lingual content with an integrated translation tool, read aloud functionality, easyread and sign language, suitable for any impairment. Fat Fish aided in enabling Cardmedic to market themselves correctly for significant uptake, increasing the speed to market and maximising the impact and scale of the innovation.
